A new Hermes store will open to coincide with the reopening of Hong Kong department store Lee Gardens. We designed three windows called "BEING ALIVE" to add a touch of color to this celebration.

Here, the constant ``dynamics'' of Hermès are transformed into spaces based on the characteristic running styles of the horses Trot, Canter, and Gallop. The motion of the horse's legs emerges as a space, creating a dynamic and discovery space, and we wanted to weave a narrative into it.

By connecting two shapes extracted from the motion of a horse's legs with a straight line, a three-dimensional surface emerges. The dynamic space created in this way dynamically changes how it looks inside each time the perspective changes. In addition, we aimed to create a sense of movement and depth by adding uneven expressions and color shading to the surface of the rigid urethane foam, which was carved using 3D data. By combining the color of the three-dimensional shape of the legs and the color of the background as complementary colors, we will bring glamor to the window.

The white horses are running through the cave-like space created in this way and are on a journey of exploration.

"Trot" is a dance-like running style in which two pairs of diagonal legs move in the same way, creating a double beat. Yellow flowers bloom profusely in this rhythmic space, and hidden inside are scented perfumes. It looks like a lost white horse is dancing happily and looking for its favorite scent.

"Canter" has a pair of diagonal legs move in the same way, creating a triple beat and creating a motion that resembles running up.

Pegasus flies through the sky, passing through clouds of perfume spray and scarves waving in the wind, and finds a cave in the sky, and seems to be surprised and delighted by the mysterious world.

"Gallop" is the fastest way to run. The sight of horses powerfully kicking off the ground and running as if flying gives us a sense of the dynamism of movement. The white horse rushes forward, drawn by the movement that extends beyond the window frame, and its body moves forward as if being dragged by bags and sandals that spring up from the ground.

In this way, I hope that various stories and worlds will be woven into the movement of the horse's legs, creating a lively window that viewers will want to peer into.
